BoSoma Dance Company presents their spring 2013 season. The evening holds premiers by both Artistic Directors Katherine Hooper and Irada Djelassi in addition to some favorites from the company's repertory.
As a company of mostly woman, BoSoma Dance Company evokes and fuses remembrances of the esthetic of Isadora Duncan and strength of Joan of Arc. The company projects A power which does not dampen their femininity. They perform with a androgynous courage and conviction.
The dancers are technically skilled and the choreography is solid composition beautifully danced. BoSoma is not just a company, it is a powerful statement.
