Comedian Dwight York is not just a funny character with an unforgettable style: he has great jokes. His seemingly endless store of clever and original jokes have made him a finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Contest, a slot in the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in Scotland and a regular feature on the nationally syndicated "Bob and Tom Show."
Comedian Dwight York's act has always been smart, funny and to the point. These finely crafted jokes, blended together with his quirky stage persona and his unique style of delivery, quickly established him as one of Minneapolis's hottest comics.
From his very first open mike set, York established what was to become his trademark style: clever, concise, non sequitur, impeccably timed setup, punch line type jokes.
Joe Tanner, "The Lowry Mailman" comes to you from the back streets of North Minneapolis. He has quickly become on of the Twin Cities favorite stand up stars.
Joe was discovered by legendary comedians Louie Anderson and Scott Hansen after writing in letters to Minneapolis radio station KQRS, Joe has opened and shared his childhood experiences of growing up in a family of eight in the small town of Anoka.
Joe has crafted his comedy routines of his many experiences of delivering mail to all sorts of different characters in "The Hood" in North Minneapolis. These routines are helping to carry him from stage to stage across the twin Cities comedy scene.
