Join us for a fun filled day of riding trains on this private miniature live steam railroad located in Arroyo Grande, Ca. Order your tickets online now. The event is popular and usually sells out.
If the event is SOLD OUT, then those who do show up at the gate to purchase tickets during the day will be asked to return in late afternoon after 2pm for any available tickets then.
PLEASE NOTE that we have a few new rules in effect for your safety and enjoyment. These rules may affect you ticket buying decision. Please review prior to mailing in your check. We want everybody that can to be able to ride and have a safe & fun time on the trains.
1.) Pregnant persons will not be permitted to ride the trains.
2.) Only persons with closed toe shoes will be permitted to ride the train. No part of the foot should be visible.
3.) No Dogs are permitted on the property of Bittercreek Western Railroad.
4.) All Riders must be three years old or above AND be able to sit in their own seat.
5.) No "Babes in Arms" allowed on the train at any time.
We want everybody to have a safe and enjoyable event. These rules are established for your own safety. Please note that children need proper shoes and be able to ride in their own seats. Sometimes this can be an issue. Please no "babes in arms" allowed on the train at any time. Rules will be enforced onsite.
Please plan accordingly. No refunds on tickets. Tickets are transferable.

HOW TO GET THERE FROM THE NORTH:
Take the Halcyon Road exit from Highway 101. Drive south on Halcyon Road to Highway 1, Turn left onto Highway1. Drive east on Highway 1. Continue on Highway 1 as it curves right (south) and is also called Valley Road. Turn left on South Halcyon Road. Cross EI Campo Road. Pass Cypress Ridge Golf Course and Aloma Way and Bitter Creek is on the left.
IF YOU MISS THE HALCYON ROAD EXIT:
Don't panic. Keep going South on 101. South of Arroyo Grande take the EI Campo Road Exit. Follow EI Campo Road accross Los Berros Road to Halcyon Road. Turn left onto Halcyon Road. BitterCreek is just past Cypress Ridge Golf Course and Aloma Way on the left.
FROM THE SOUTH:
Take the Thompson Avenue/Los Berros Road exit from Highway 101. Turn left under the freeway bridge. Drive NW on Los Berros Road. Turn left onto EI Campo Road. Drive SW on EI Campo Road. Turn left onto Halcyon Road. BitterCreek is on the left, just beyond Cypress Ridge Golf Course and Aloma Way.
