Dan and Leland are an eclectic-rock duo who blend ferocious guitar playing with pop sensibility and top-shelf songwriting to create a sound that is both distinct and immediately endearing. Friends and collaborators since high school, Dan Franklin and Leland Jackness went their separate ways as musicians, playing with a variety of artists from Leann Rimes to Brett Dennen. When they reunited in Los Angeles two years ago, the ensuing creative reaction resulted in the acclaimed release of their debut acoustic album, New Directions. They are now touring to support their second album, The Rush of Sights and Sounds.
