Blue Monkey Cabaret: A Tale of Two Travelers Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarians and Universalists 1606 Bonita Avenue (at Cedar Street) Berkeley, CA 94709
Blue Monkey Cabaret presents A Tale of Two Travelers, a self-revelatory performance that intertwines the traditional story of Fatima the Spinner and the Tent with the magically embellished story of Judy/Ariel. With music and laughter, we witness (and occasionally participate in) the adventures of the two heroines as each follows her destiny through joy, turbulence, and transformation to an exhilarating denouement. In self-revelatory theater, the performance is an act of transformation on stage, with the audience as witness, cheerleader, and co-creator. Written and performed by Ariel Lexina Adams Directed by Tami Altman Music by John Kadyk Friday, April 19 at 8 pm The show runs 75 minutes without an intermission.
