Opera Scenes
An evening of scenes and arias from the operas of Bizet, Cilea, Cimarosa, Donizetti, Carlisle Floyd, Handel, Menotti, Mozart, Nicolai, and Rossini fully staged and costumed, with piano accompaniment, under the direction of Monroe Kanouse.

Annually directed by Monroe Kanouse, well-known opera conductor, vocal coach and concert accompanist. Kanouse was principal conductor of the Sacramento Opera Association from 1981-1998. He previously served in this position with Oakland Opera. Mr. Kanouse has directed the Annual Opera Scenes Workshop at Holy Names University since 1990.
