13th Annual All Oakland Youth Talent Showcase
Oakland Leaf is glad to announce the 13th Annual All Oakland Youth Talent Showcase. This showcase promises to bring together a variety of performances from youth all over Oakland as these young people share the same stage in solidarity. Is is their chance to show Oakland's rich history through different forms of art. The theme for this year's show is Town Harmony. Our Roots program chose this theme to demonstrate that Oakland is made up of many different elements that come together. Together we will create a place of inspiration, positivity, and Town Harmony.
High school students from Oakland Leaf's Roots program will co-host, help organize, and promote the event. This youth-led production is a simultaneous act of resistance and celebration to showcase the beauty and talent that often gets marginalized when one thinks about, talks about, or represents Oakland.
Tickets are on a $10 for general admission. Sliding scale of $2 - $7 for youth ages 5 to 18. Free for youth under age 5.
