Presented by Theatre Transplant|
Written by Harold Pinter
Directed by Greg Gasman
Starring Caleb Fricke, Jeremiah Liend, Lynn K. Henderson, James Napoleon Stone, Hannah Glaser, and Arthur Peden.
The story revolves around Stanley Webber, an erstwhile piano player, who lives in a rundown boarding house, owned by a simple elderly couple in an ocean side town. Two sinister strangers, who appear to have come looking for him, arrive purportedly on his birthday and turn Stanley's banal birthday party into a nightmare. Come share a fun evening as Theatre Transplant brings the humor of Pinter's work to the surface!
About The Director
Greg Gasman, during the 70s, was acting and studying his craft in the Twin Cities and Los Angeles. Being a native of Minnesota, Greg moved back where live theatre was more prevalent. In 1982, Greg became part of Michael Brindisi's acting troupe at the Paul Bunyan Playhouse in Bemidji, MN. The north woods put a spell on Greg and his wife, Kay, and they decided to nest in and start a family. Over the last 30 years, Greg has begun and been part of 6 different theatre companies; producing, directing and acting in 150 productions. He has taught theatre and directed at almost every school (elementary through college) in the surrounding Bemidji area; including the Bemidji Boys and Girls Club and the Northwest Juvenile Center. Many of Greg's students and actors have gone on to weave their own lives through the theatrical and film world.
Theatre Transplant creates an experience where excellent actors, who have moved to the cities from "out of town" can showcase their talents. Visit theatretransplant.org to find out more.
