NJ Sierra Club is partnering with the Adventure Aquarium in Camden so you can get up close and personal with some of the creatures that bare the biggest brunt of our plastic pollution- sea turtles!
Did you know that approximately 100,000 sea turtles and other marine animals die each year from eating plastic pollution in our environment? Sea turtles mistake floating plastic bags for their favorite food jellyfish and often the consequences of eating the plastic is fatal. Join us on March 23rd at the Aquarium to learn more during the special exhibit Turtles: Journey of Survival. You will have the opportunity to meet loggerhead sea turtles, green sea turtles, and a variety of freshwater turtles. At our educational table learn how plastic pollution impacts these creatures and what you can do reduce plastic pollution.
The best part: NJ Sierra Club members and supporters will receive a discounted rate. You can also upgrade your ticket to include a half hour behind the scenes tour of the aquarium! Tours will be offered at 10:30 am and 11:15 am.
Purchase your tickets today for a fun filled day of education and activism. Meeting these beautiful turtles up close will change the way you view your plastic use.
Please note children under 6 cannot go on the behind the scenes tour for safety reasons.
Children under 2 are free.
The ticket price does not include parking fees.
TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BEFORE MARCH 23 TO RECEIVE DISCOUNT
