ScrapKins "Build A Recycle-Saurus!" Children's Art Workshop
"Build A Recycle-Saurus!" is an art workshop for children ages 6-10 led by ScrapKins, an NYC-based Creativity program for kids that follows the adventures of a tribe of monsters who build their world out of the things we throw away. Created in 2006 by children's designer Brian Yanish, the ScrapKins mission is to inspire creativity and DIY resourcefulness in kids everywhere. You'll never look at recyclables the same way again!
Inspiring creativity through reuse, workshop participants will build dinosaurs from milk containers and other reclaimed household items and decorate their dinos. Parents can join the fun or relax and enjoy complimentary coffee in a parents' lounge. (No drop offs please!)
JOIN US FOR SPRING BREAK IN BROOKLYN: 2 DAYS! Workshop Drop-In Hours: Friday, March 29th 10am - 1pm Saturday, March 30th 1pm - 4pm
