Experience the strength, power and glory of Olympic sabre fencing!
The Absolute Fencing Gear Korfanty World Cup is a three-day, international fencing tournament comprised of more than 300 of the world's best sabre fencers. Male and female athletes from more than 30 countries including Italy, France, Poland, U.S.A., South Korea and China will compete in Chicago.
Event Details:
Friday, May 3: Individual Preliminary Competition (Physical Education Building- attached)
9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, May 4: Individual Direct Elimination (Top 64 to Finals)
9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
BRONZE/GOLD MEDAL BOUTS: 5 - 9 p.m.
Sunday, May 5: Team Competitions (Top 16 to Finals)
9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
BRONZE/GOLD MEDAL BOUTS: 5 - 9 p.m.
Park conveniently in Lot 5 (Roosevelt and Morgan) for around $10 or take the Blue Line to the UIC-Halsted stop and walk south thru campus.
KIDS 6 years old and under are FREE.
