Budding Biologists Day Camp at Pepperwood
Hike, discover and create nature journals during our affordable fun-filled day camp! While exploring forests, meadows and ponds, campers will get in-depth with nature and learn basic science skills. Each day involves a hands-on science activity, nature journaling, hiking and exploring. Campers will learn interesting facts about local flora and fauna - all while having fun and learning to love the outdoors! Each session is limited to 14 children, with a 1:5 ratio of instructors to campers.
Classes are led by Pepperwood's enthusiastic environmental educators Margaret Boeger, Nicole Barden, and Jesse Robinson. All instructors have degrees in science and education and have many years of teaching experience in Sonoma County's native habitats. Camp runs 9:00 am to 2:00 pm from June 10-13, 2013 and children ages 7 through 10 are welcome.
