Charleston Recipes and Charleston Receipts
Join James Beard Award winning authors Matt and Ted Lee at the Library Society (164 King Street) as they discuss the famous "Charleston Receipts" and local cuisine. Hailed as the "definitive Charleston cookbook of the 20th Century" in their new cookbook, "The Lee Bros. Charleston Kitchen", the story of "Receipts" and the delicious recipes it contains will be the focus of the afternoon's discussion. Vereen Coen and Josephine Humphreys will moderate this exciting event; the Lee's book will be available for autographs, and a reception will follow the program.
