DIY Ukrainian Egg Painting
Pysanky is the traditional Ukrainian art of waxing and dying elaborate designs on eggs. Join us for these 2 two-hour workshops where you'll learn to create your own egg(s) with all of the materials provided by Fredricksen Library. The traditional colors of white, yellow, orange, red and black will be used. Motifs will be shown and explained. Each participant should be able to create two eggs during the sessions. Make sure you bring a smock or clothes that can get a bit messy! Cost for 2 classes is $5.00 Ages 14 and up please.
