Comedian Mike Wysocki
Pittsburgh comedian Mike Wysocki has been winning audiences over all across the East Coast with his strong writing skills and sardonic look at American life.

After winning the prestigious 2001 Virginia Laugh Off, Mike left Virginia in hopes of completing his college degree at the University of Pittsburgh. Shortly thereafter, Mike won the 2003 Funniest Person in Pittsburgh. While working as a short order cook during the days and the comedy clubs at night, Mike was discovered by Jimmy Krenn, co-host of the WDVE morning show. Krenn immediately hired Mike to be a regular comic force on the highest rated morning show in the country. His quick wit and smooth delivery have earned him a loyal following among listeners. Mike is currently the most downloaded podcasts on www.dve.com.

Mike has worked with Jim Krenn, Billy Elmer, Billy Gardell. In addition to headlining sold-out shows in the tri-state area, Mike regularly appears at the Improv with some of the nation's biggest comedy stars.

The evening also includes music and stand-up comedy by  Eric Donaldson. Eric writes and sings funny (or novelty) songs as a solo act, or as leader of the band Eric and the Electric MP3 Player. Inspired by Henry Phillips and Steven Banks, he writes wordy yet catchy pop tunes such as the crowd favorite, Kimberly Jones, and the lilting, John Denver-y paean to himself, Grateful. He is currently (futurely) working on an album of original songs to be titled Dilettante. No rush. He began performing standup comedy in 2008 at a Pittsburgh coffee house open mic with a scene from Disney's The Little Mermaid followed by the words, "Ever since I got into standup comedy" He performs standup regularly now at several venues across the Pittsburgh area.

And opening the night is the ironic, improv comedy duo Hipsterpotamus. Cassie Brehmer and Connor McCanlus are Pittsburgh-based performers who began improvising together in Field Trip (Steel City Improv Theater House Team). Hipsterpotamus was a featured act at a number of garden parties and late-night SCIT shows before being accepted to the 2012 Fall Back Comedy Festival in Rochester, NY. Blending improv, dance and performance art, the quirky duo continues to perform locally as well as co-hosting a monthly show for improv duos at SCIT. This March, Hipsterpotamus will be performing in the New York Improv Festival at the Peoples Improv Theater.
