June 2013 The Fremont Tour, a street theater
Greetings from Fremont, Center of the Universe. The Fremont Tour, a street theater promotes public art. As a street theater, our tour guides dress in costume (The Fremont Fairy Godmother, J-efe the Turkish Rap Singer etc.) and tell about our public art in a character. We use props and costumes and playfully involve strangers in the street who have NO IDEA they are going to be a part of our story. Our program is interactive, educational and laugh-out-loud entertaining. We start at Solstice Plaza (711 N. 34th St.) in the heart of Seattle's Fremont District. We walk a half mile and take 90 minutes to share our family friendly street theater. We end the tour close to colorful shops and local cafes. We take having fun very seriuosly!! COME PLAY.
FIRST SUNDAY-June 2nd - BUY TICKET/COME IN COSTUME/BRING A FRIEND FOR FREE.
