Mixed Roots Scotland is excited to welcome back Guinean dance teacher Mohamed Kouyate. Mohamed is a teacher at the prestigious Centre Momboye in Paris. He will be bringing his energy and knowledge of West African dance to our bonnie 'burgh!
There will also be live djembe and dundun beats.
Mohamed taught 2 sold out classes last year on his first trip to Edinburgh.
As part of this Black History Month session, we will be celebrating the contribution that African music and dance has made globally. We will be learning 2 dynamic choreographies from Malinke and Susu culture.
