Workshop: Forkigami 101 Second Form - The Beetle

This class will teach the basics of Forkigami which is an adaptation of the ancient Asian paper folding art form using western eating utensils. There are 8 basic forms that can be created in Forkigami, they are the scorpion, the betel, the lady bug, the cricket, the spider, the centipede, the praying mantis and the dragon fly.
This 1.5 hour class will focus on the Beetle form and will be taught by the originator of the art form Dan Current. Dan is an internationally distributed artist most notably recognized for his three dimensional metal sculptures. Students will be supplied with all materials necessary for this art form.
Registration : $20.00 (covers forks and necessary tools)

NOTE: this workshop requires strong hands and may not be suitable for small children or the elderly.
