Event
2013 Houston Improv Festival - Saturday 10pm
Prepare yourself for a night of hilarity at the 2nd annual Houston Improv Festival with three brilliant teams:
iScream Sandwich performs the classic long form format, "the Harold," but adds their own unique flavor to the original recipe! Their opening is their own design, sprinkled with your favorite toppings and mix-ins, they aren't just vanilla, they are so much more!
This Infinite Closet specializes in an improv form called a Bat. At its most basic, a Bat is improv in the dark. By taking away light, physicality of the performers is constrained while the audience's senses are heightened. Performers weave vocal soundscapes, transcend boundaries of time and space and visit settings outside the realm of a typical improv performance.
Baby Knuckle is a four man longform improv comedy troupe out of Houston, Texas. Together they will form a completely improvised 30 minute Harold-esque playground, kicking it off with a organic free form opening and exploring that connected universe with richer than rich characters that you care for and fear, stories you must hear, and laughs your belly craves. Nothing is more pure than a baby's knuckle.
