| If you were there last year, you KNOW you don't want to miss the 2nd Annual Alternative 4th of July Celebration featuring Michael Lange and James Brooks reading excertps of Douglass' renowned speech, ""The Meaning of July Fourth for the Negro." Lange and Brooks weave excerpts of the speech while the UpSurge Jazz Poetry Ensemble transports the listeners to that historic day when one of the greatest speeches of all time was delivered by one of America's finest orators. BBQ dinner will be served at 6pm. |
