Eva Moon faced an impossible choice: Remove her healthy breasts and ovaries or face incredible odds of cancer. "The Mutant Diaries: Unzipping My Genes" is a funny, feisty, frank and fearless new solo musical about turning a devastating prognosis into a new lease on life.
The BRCA genetic mutation raises the risk of breast and ovarian cancer to near certainty. To avoid that fate, she went through multiple surgeries, and in the process discovered her mutant superpower: She got to change her future.
All proceeds benefit FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, the only non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by hereditary breast and ovarian cancers or BRCA mutations.
