Pop Roulette-Prov / The Era
Pop Roulette does Musical Sketch at the Peoples Improv Theater. But most of them are also trained improvisers! "Let's have a kiki" AND do some improv.
Pop Roulette is: Douglas Widick, Matt Rogers, Tessa Skara, Sudi Green, Tess Niedermeyer, Lauren Ireland, Amanda Shechtman, and Luke Marinkovich.
The Era is a two-woman team made that matches big characters and idiotic circumstances with smart scene work and attention to detail, weaving together a show that is rough, dumb, elegant, and thoughtful. The seasoned Chicago team has performed at iO, Annoyance Theater, The Second City and at festivals across the country.
