Dances Under the Crescent Moon
The end of the ANAR DANA San Francisco Project culminates in a show-length Recital featuring the Project members presenting the choreographies they have learned, as well as solos by Helene. This year's production also features solos from ANAR DANA alums Monica Berini and Katy Alaniz Rous.
This evening of dance will include:
* Dances of the Kabyle Berbers of Algeria
* Assyrian Dances
* Croatian songs and "silent dances" from Raanac
* Ottoman Court Dance
* Georgian Mountain Dance
* Persian Mystical dance - a neo-classical dance style
* Balochi celebration from Pakistan
