In Recital - Rachel DeShon & Norman Durkee
'In Recital' is a contemporary look at the recital form.
Rachel DeShon: Rachel DeShon won Marvin Hamlisch's Search for a Star Competition in 2001, and has since stared in his national symphony tour. Additional performance highlights include the Boston POPS!, Seattle Opera, Seattle Symphony Pops, Teatro ZinZanni, Pittsburgh Symphony Pops, Elgin Symphony Orchestra, and at Singapore's Esplanade Concert Hall.
Norman Durkee: Composer, arranger, producer, pianist, conductor, and teacher has pursued a diverse musical career since 1968. He has been composer in Residence for Seattle Opera, Musical Director of Hair and Tommy, pianist on a number of hit records including 'Taking care of Business' for Bachman-Turner Overdrive and most recently the composer and musical director for the celebrated show Teatro ZinZanni.
Martha Davis: Martha Davis earned great acclaim as the frontwoman and guiding artistic force with the Motels during the 1980s. The Motels reached Billboards Top Ten singles with their hits "Only the Lonely" and "Suddenly Last Summer." She has earned her place as one of the most influential and riveting female artists.
'In Recital' is produced by The Lamb Project and is powered by Shunpike.
Tickets will also be available at the door. The on-site box office will open at 7:00pm and the house will open at 7:30pm.
