Description
A night to celebrate the creativity of regional fashion past and future. Fashion Group International of Seattle will host a reception and celebrate the contributions to the fashion community made by Dr. Carolyn Schactler retired professor of fashion design and couture from Central Washington University.  Enjoy light refreshment while you stroll the galleries of Theatre de la mode and mingle with members of Washington's fashion community. Winners of FGI's juried student competition, focused on fashion and social responsibility and inspired by Theatre de la Mode, will model their work and receive their awards. 

Reception with food, music and fashion show: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m
Program and awards in McEachern Auditorium: 7 p.m.

Presented in conjunction with Fashion at MOHAI, a special exhibit featuring the world-famous Theatre de la Mode fashions and sets from post-WWII Paris and famous French designers, plus miniature dolls and full-size couture fashions. Lectures and other special programs will be offered throughout the run of the show. Presented with support from MOHAI members and donors. Open through Sunday, July 16, 2006.
