The Derbalife "Building Blocks" boot camp is designed to build fundamentals in skating, blocking and agility that are at the core of game play in modern roller derby. Make no mistake 'fundamental' does not equate to 'easy'. All levels can find new challenges in the skills and drills presented.
The boot camp also features the "Building Blocks" of good nutrition with a basic sports nutrition class. Participants will get access to information, health coaching, free samples for recovery after that awesome boot camp and they will also get a chance to start on their own nutrition plan that day.
Merry Khaos has been playing roller derby for over three and half years and currently skates for a Division 1 W.F.T.D.A. all-star team. Throughout her life she has been athlete, participating in softball, soccer, pole vaulting, kick boxing, running, basketball, rock climbing, football, dance and derby. She has trained with top skaters in the world and brings an expansive amount of bouting, training and coaching experience to each camp. She also really loves derby and she already thinks you're awesome.
