The Railflowers
The Railflowers: This captivating Trio of sisters weave a folksy Americana style with guitar, banjo, mandolin and a bit of eggshaker. The Railflowers blend soothing three part harmonies to weave a tapestry of memories and experiences that have inspired their lives. Growing up, Hannah, Beth and Ellen Knight began singing in their living room to the musicians their mother introduced them to, including Joni Mitchell and Patty Griffin. They formally started The Railflowers in the fall of 2009 and have been actively sharing and pursuing their passion across northern California since. A love for songwriting and performance is carrying this young trio further into the world. Their traditional country folk harmonies and a true desire to express honest experiences and a deep passion for life has captured audiences in their hometown of Chico adn throughout the Northwest. In the spring of 2011, the sisters were joined by their dear friend Emma Blakenship playing the upright bass. Come join us at The Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara, for this captivating performance.
