James and the Giant Peach
Metro Arts is proud to present as adaptation of Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach. This year, the newly added Theatre Company will play the main cast of characters, while the Junior and Mini Dance Companies, as well as 175 more dancers from Metro Arts programs, intertwine with one another, creating a production to be enjoyed by people of all ages. Enjoy painted backdrops by artist Allison Greer, who worked with SPARX, a program offered free of charge in Tacoma middle schools. No production of James and the Giant Peach would be complete without a large scale, moveable peach. Come see where Grasshopper, Ladybug, Spider, Centipede, Earthworm, and James make their new home, and where adventure meets them at every turn.
