Anthony David live at Plush St. Louis

Canvas Entertainment, along with Select Saturday present Grammy nominee, Anthony David live in concert Saturday, March 2 at Plush St. Louis, 3224 Locust St.

Anthony David has one of the most distinct voices in soul music. Since bursting on the scene with his Grammy nominated duet, "Words" feat. India.Arie, David has garnered a passionate following, including First Lady Michelle Obama, who said David is one of her favorite artists.

David has since had a string of hits, including the number one single, "4evermore" feat. Algebra and Phonte.

David's latest project, "Love Out Loud" is already a critical success and gives listeners a welcome return to classic soul music, where the songs are about love and caring, not the hedonistic lust currently dominating radio airwaves.

General Admission is $20. VIP booths also available.

Singing along with David, and opening for him is Tameka Dawn. Dawn is best known for her standing room only weekly sets at the now defunct Gary's. Dawn was also a regular during the5spot live music series. Dawn is making her return to St. Louis, as she had been residing in Atlanta and singing throughout the globe, including performances in Dubai.

David and Dawn will be backed by a stellar live band headed by Music Director Jahmal Nichols. Nichols is currently touring in Europe with soul/jazz singer, Grammy nominee Gregory Porter.

Providing the music throughout the rest of the evening is DJ Needles.
