BKB Climbing Event - American Climber Science Program
Come climb with the American Climber Science Program (ACSP), and listen to Dr. John All's presentation on conducting conservation research in the high mountains of the world, including an ascent of Everest without crampons!
Admission includes 1 free Brooklyn Boulders day pass (can be used at the time of the event or not) and free beer from our sponsor, Anheuser-Busch!
The ACSP examines changing mountain environments holistically through multi-discipline scientific research expeditions. Join us to discuss what the ACSP is doing to help the people of Peru cope with a rapidly changing mountain environment and an ever-shrinking water supply due to climate change. Interested climbers and scientists can learn about joining the 2013 expedition to the Cordillera Blanca mountains of Peru.
