The 5th Annual Hat & Glove Inspiration Breakfast Sponsored By Money University
Christian/Contemporary Gospel Recording Artist Sylvia Fedrick is the Founder & Visionary of the Hat & Glove Inspiration Breakfast. Sylvia, inspired by life experiences, challenges and obstacles in 2009 began her journey. After an eleven-year hiatus from the entertainment industry Sylvia decided to pursue her music career. Though Sylvia is most known as a recording artist and radio personality she has many passions. Her passion for singing is replicated by her passion for helping others and embracing causes.
The Hat & Glove Breakfast has multiple touch points. It brings awareness to important causes such as heart disease, diabetes, breast cancer, etc. Last year the keynote address was given by Harvard graduate Dr. Joseph West. As an epidemiologist and author, Diabetes has played a significant role in both his personal and professional life. Currently he directs the Sinai Urban Health Institute's Block by Block Community Diabetes Action Program.
By popular demand, Dr. Joseph West will be the keynote speaker for the 2013 Hat & Glove Inspiration Breakast!
Finally, the event provides a platform for professional women to mentor teens and young women. Sylvia uses this breakfast as a vehicle to help her audience let their inspiration be their motivation to their destination so they can confront the obstacles in their life. Her goal is to help them find the strength to make it another second, another minute, another day!
