Phedre
4373 Theatre Philadelphia, PA
Paul Schmidt's edgy, modern translation of Racine's classic tells the story of Phedre. She is a victim of her family curse, and her unnatural passions threaten to destroy the ruling house of Athens.
Vanity House Theatre presents this powerful work in a simple, bare-bones style. True to form, we've rented out a small space on Main Street in Manayunk; seating is extremely limited, so only a lucky few will get the chance to experience this raw drama in the intimate space it deserves.
