TITUBA AND NAT 2 THEATERICAL MONO PIECES-(1 HOUR EACH IN LEGTH) BLACK HISTORY MONTH-THEIR TESTIMONIES FROM THEIR PERSPECTIVES. Traveling beyond Arthur Millers The Crucible and many attempt to convey the perspective of Nat Turner. The dyad takes us on A tailwind journey into the lives of these most controversial African American figures in history.
Tituba sparked the Salem WitchHunts. Nat Turner led an unparalelled slave revolt that led to his very graphic demise.
Both these shows are dramatic and intense. These pieces have evoked emotions. Nat has been sold out to standing room only audiences in San Diego, New York and the Carribean.
TITUBA has toured colleges on the East Coast including YALE and Cornell. It was awarded the most thought provoking at the CARIFESTA in St Kitts,West Indes. TITUBA was filmed by PBS for its own documentary on The Spark Of The Salem WitchHunts.
