Pacific Park Community Garden Plot and Orientation Meeting

There are sixteen available beds at the new community garden at Pacific Park. Each plot is 16 feet by 4 feet. The cost for the season is $30. Gardeners will need to attend an orientation event on April 17, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the community garden.

Gardeners are responsible for total upkeep of their plot, including: adding soil amendments, tilling, keeping plot free of rotting fruit and vegetables, providing their own tools, harvesting, clearing and mulching any areas not planted before the winter season. Gardeners must follow water guidelines and avoid the use of chemicals.
