Participatory Engagement of Stakeholders and Community Members for Effective Programming
This workshops provides participants with the skills, knowledge and comfort level to utilize techniques and tools to work with and engage community members and target populations in their organization and program activities. They will learn how to use participatory tools to:
Assess their community and organization's needs;
Plan, design and implement their organization and program activities;
Monitor and evaluate their organizations' programs; and
Build capacity and skills of program staff and community members.
The workshop is highly interactive and participants practice working with tools and techniques (ranking & scoring, processes & change, structured observation, interviewing, mapping, modeling, diagramming etc.) on a real project from their organization.
