2013 REC Open Skate (All Levels) - Feb 23
Gotham Girls Roller Derby is hosting open track time on for skaters age 18+ on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 9am 11am.
In order to be eligible to participate in this event, you must have participated in a GGRD Rec League 1, 2, or 3 class before. [Please note: for 2013, Rec League 1 and Rec League 2 classes have been renamed to Basic Training 1 & Basic Training 2]
Skaters can use this time to practice on their own, focus on their skills and get ready our upcoming Basic Training Session. Skaters must provide all of their own skates and gear. Full protective gear, including knee pads, wrist guards, elbow pads and helmet must be worn at all times.
All participants will be required to provide proof of ONE of the following types of insurance:
-Primary health insurance
-WFTDA insurance
-USARS insurance
Please note that we reserve the right to cancel this class with one week of notice in the case of insufficient interest. In the event of cancellation, skaters will be issued a refund.
