Singer songwriter Chris Pureka has recently relocated to Portland, OR. Join her for a small gathering of solo material, new and old songs, and help welcome her to Portland! Chris met Marty McConnell in 2001 at a Poetry event and has been following her work ever since. Marty will open up the event, performing poems from her brand new book(!), Wine For a Shotgun. Muddy's cafe has been a good friend to Chris over the years and served her many a good breakfast. In the spirit of community we are very excited to be having this event here. Drinks and some food will be available for purchase. Show up early, seating will be limited. And stay tuned. Hopefully there will be more events like this in the future.
