The Vagina Monologues San Rafael
The V-Day organization inspires and supports activists, such as myself, who are working to create a world where women and girls are nurtured and protected, through grassroots activism, public education activities and support services for survivors of: rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation, and sex slavery. You and I can inspire and support these activists through donations toward the production benefit performance of Eve Ensler's award winning play The Vagina Monologues, in San Rafael.  With the production of this play, new opportunities and resources for women and girls of Marin, will be given a stronger financial support from the community.  The proceeds of these performances are being donated to my local anti-violence organization, Center for Domestic Peace.
Center for Domestic Peace, home of Marin Abused Women's Services (MAWS) is a local nonprofit organization that provides women, men and children in Marin County with a full continuum of direct services, support programs and advocacy.  Known for its groundbreaking, model programs and assistance to other agencies, Center for Domestic Peace has become one of the country's outstanding leaders in the campaign against domestic violence.
