You've Recorded Your Music, Now What? (Navigating Your Way Through the New Music Business)

Christopher Knab and FourFront Media and Music in cooperation with Benaroya Hall, are pleased to announce that a Music Business Workshop titled "You've Recorded Your Music-Now What?" will be held in the Soundbridge Room at Seattle's Benaroya Hall on Monday March 18th from 6:30pm to 10pm.
Attendees will learn what it takes to get their music played on alternative radio, reviewed in the press, distributed and sold, booked into clubs, and promoted through Social Networking and other self-empowering tools.
Instructor, Christopher Knab, co-author of the book 'Music Is Your Business' has over 40 years of hands-on experience with Independent music; ranging from Record Label and Music Retail ownership, and Alternative Radio station management. Christopher taught music business courses at the Art Institute of Seattle for two decades, and is a music business consultant and educator based in Seattle. In addition, Solveig Whittle will present her tips for musicians on how to effectively use Social Networking to further their careers.
