Lake Union Civic Orchestra: SKAN II
Town Hall, Seattle Seattle, WA
Join LUCO in the second of our series celebrating Scandinavian composers, when we perform Berwald's most famous composition, his Tragic Overture, Grieg's brilliant rendering of the timeless legend of Peer Gynt, and Sibelius' masterful and deeply moving Violin Concerto with the prodigious 20-year old Amy Lee as soloist. The recent recipient of ArtsFund's "Outstanding Achievement in the Arts" Award, Maestro Christophe Chagnard will conduct and narrate this fascinating Scandinavian journey.

We hope you enjoyed your evening with the Lake Union Civic Orchestra - we hope to see you at our next concert on April 14th, when we perform Mozart's beautiful Clarinet Concerto, and the stirring 10th Symphony of Shostakovich, celebrating anniversaries of both conductors' births.
