ALL THE SINGLE LADIES (a bitter suite)
In this pre-New York engagement, Seth Ward Pyatt leads an ensemble that features an array of both veteran and up-and-coming performers singing about the boys we gladly broke up with, being single & lovin' it, and sex vs. relationships.
Creator/Director Pyatt enlists the voices of a few talented friends to help him weave an evening of music dedicated to everyone who is single, has been single, or wishes they were single. When a majority of the traditional cabarets devote their material to love songs and lovers, this bitter suite lovingly takes into consideration all of us who are fortunate or unfortunate enough to take a bat at life single-handedly. Using familiar showtunes and obscure pop songs, this whiskey sour of a night leaves the audience with a comic point-of-view on the life of bachelors and old maids.
