Join Community Sailing of Colorado for a special screening of "PERFORMING AT THE LIMIT", the official film of the 2011-2012 Volvo Ocean Race. This screening will be held at the Denver Film Center//Colfax beginning at 7:00 PM. This event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC with all ticket proceeds going to the CSC Junior Race Team!
Aboout the race...The 11th edition of the Volvo Open Race produced the closest contest in the 39-year history of sailing's most prestigious offshore challenge- an epic adventure covering 39,000 nautical miles and providing eight months of relentless competition. Across four oceans and five continents, the six teams battled extremes of conditions that left boats, and dreams, in tatters before a thrilling finale in Galway decided the race. Relive a human and sporting drama on an unprecedented scale in the official film of the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-12.
