Matt Flinner (mandolin) and Ross Martin (guitar) have been making groundbreaking New Acoustic string band music together for over 10 years. Ross is recognized as one of the great acoustic guitarists in bluegrass/jazz with his own style that transcends boundaries. His forthcoming CD (produced by Flinner) features Darol Anger (fiddle), Greg Garrison (bass), Ron Miles (trumpet) and Marc Dalio (drums). Flinner has been at the forefront of New Acoustic music for the past 20 years, with six Compass Records projects and the Grammy-nominated "Americana" by the Modern Mandolin Quartet to his credit.
