If you, like us, spend your spare time researching old German coffee proverbs, you'll undoubtedly know this one: "Coffee and love are best when they are hot." We agree, though we'd also add that years of study, impeccable calibration and the right amount of age never hurt, either.
This Valentine's Day, Blue Bottle Coffee will host "Lovers' Brew," the first of many public events at our brew bar in Chelsea. Guests will enjoy a customized coffee experience featuring our Small Lot single origin selections prepared in a variety of ways: siphon, nel, pour-over, Chemex and espresso. To (literally) sweeten the deal, our friends at Mast Brothers Chocolate have crafted event-specific sweet and savory treat pairings.
