SULYP On The Slopes 2013
SULYP On The Slopes will be held at Stevens Pass on Saturday March 16th.
This is an annual one-day ski outing hosted by Seattle Urban League Young Professionals to round-up professionals for a day of snowboarding, skiing, networking, and fun. Whether you are new to snowboarding and skiing, an experienced athlete, or somewhere in between, all are welcome to participate. So join SULYP On The Slopes on March 16th, this will be a memorable experience filled with many laughs, good people, and just a good time.
Below are the packages that can be purchased for this event:
A. IT'S SNOWING
All Mountain Lift Ticket - First lift begins at 9:00AM
SULYP Member: $50.00
Non-SULYP Member: $55.00
B. THE SNOWBALL
This package is for first time skiers and riders as well as those not ready for Blue runs.
Package includes:
Beginner group lessons, lasting up to 2 hours.
Rental equipment - snowboard or ski equipment designed to make learning easier. (board & boots or skis, boots & poles)
Beginner lift ticket
Lessons start promptly at 10am
SULYP Price: $90.00
Non-SULYP Member: $94.00
C. LET IT SNOW
This package is for the Intermediate Skier who are blue run skiers and snowboarders. Develop new skills in a variety of terrain and snow conditions. Go with a Pro to get the tips and tricks to have more fun on the slopes!
Package Includes:
All day Performance Rental Package, snowboard or skis (board & boots or skis, boots & poles)
A 1.5 hour intermediate group lesson.
An all day, all mountain lift ticket.
Lessons start promptly at 10am

D. WINTER WONDERLAND
This package includes an All Mountain Lift Ticket and Regular or Performance Skies/Snowboard Package Rental

E. Blizzard Effects
This package is for Transportation to and from Stevens Pass as a group. Why worry about gas prices, mileage and going over the pass when someone will drive for you. The more the merrier the ride will be!
SULYP Member / Non-SULYP Member: $24.00
This is going to an exciting ski event you and your friends will not want to miss. Please pay for your package(s) by March 7, 2013 @ midnight. This will ensure all equipment reservations and lessons are accounted for the event.
Please note, if you are not a current paid SULYP member you will be charged and responsible for the Non-SULYP fees as indicated.
DAY OF PURCHASES: If you order any equipment or ski package on the day of the event you will be charged the full regular price by Stevens Pass. If you had previously purchased and reserved rental equipment you will not be refunded those monies.
CANCELLATIONS: Please cancel your reservation with SULYP at least 14 calendar days in advance of the date of the event to receive a full refund. No monies will be refunded within 13 calendar days of the event.
All participants must arrive at Stevens Pass by 8:45AM the day of the event. If you are riding with SULYP or following the SULYP Bus/Van we will meet at the Northwest African American Museaum at 6:30AM on the day of the event.

6:45 AM Vehicles depart for Stevens Pass
8:45 AM Arrive at Stevens Pass
9:00 AM Dispense of Equipment and Lift Tickets
9:00 AM Mountain Opens
10:00 AM Group Lessons Start
12:30-1:30 PM Lunch
5:00 PM Depart Mountain for Home
7:00 PM Arrive back to Northwest African American Museum
