Phoenix Pride Comedy Slam
The Phoenix Pride Comedy Slam is a one night event at the Phoenix College Bulpitt Auditorium. Dana Goldberg Comedy Productions will partner with Phoenix Pride to bring you a night of incredible comedy featuring four of the nation's top LGBT comedians. This event will be co-sponsored by Student Life and Leadership at Phoenix College. Dana Goldberg, Ian Harvie, Jason Dudey, and Erin Foley have performed all over the world and have been seen on Comedy Central, LOGO, Conan, and Comics Unleashed. Dana Goldberg Comedy Productions produces national comedy events which raise money for non-profits across the country to support LGBT equality and HIV/AIDS education and prevention.
Phoenix Pride Scholarship Program
"Educating Our Community"
The Phoenix Pride Scholarship Program is a charitable program to provide scholarships to self-identified LGBTQ college students. The funds for this program are administered by the Arizona Community Foundation.The Phoenix Pride Scholarship Program continues to be supported by contributions from Phoenix Pride and community members who are committed to expanding the educational opportunities for the LGBTQ community. The program is currently seeking to increase partnerships with philanthropic individuals, corporations, organizations and foundations to increase scholarship funding for LGBTQ students in the metropolitan Phoenix area.
Rainbow Spectrum
Rainbow Spectrum: Gay-Straight-Whatever Student Alliance is a club for Phoenix College's gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered students, their straight supporters, those who are questioning their orientation, those with friends or family who are GLBTQ, and anyone interested in the experiences and issues of GLBTQ people. Spectrum Rainbow aims to create a safe space, a supportive network, celebrate diversity, and provide educational events and information.
