TASTE THE RAINBOW: Bling, Color Theory, and Hair Flower or Tie Construction
Are you afraid of color?  Do you suffer from the constant use of red, black and gold?  Do you want to break out into the world of tangerines, lilacs and moss greens--all in the same costume without it looking like the circus?  Join Penny Starr, Jr. as she discusses using color to bring a new visual feast to the burlesque stage by constructing a hair flower or a decorated tie using both complimentary and contrasting colors.

Bring a hair flower or a tie in a color you feel comfortable working with, matching rhinestones in any quality, and any tools you need to rhinestone (wax sticks, tweezers), and some way to transport your flower or tie while it dries (tupperware, box, etc).

There will be a $15 lab fee for additional rhinestones, sequins, and rhinestone glue.   You will finish your creation at home.

WHEN: Sunday, February 17th from 1:45pm to 2:45pm
WHERE: West Hall
$25 in advance, $30 at the door
OR $50 in advance is you sign up for this class AND: Pop, Peel, Shimmy & Flow: Using Your Costume to Full Effect. Class info HERE: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/322699
