Conscious Community Yoga: Teacher Training (weekend experience)
Weekend Intensive
Friday March 22nd 6:30pm-9:30pm ~ Saturday (23rd) & Sunday (24th) 9am-3pm
In this training you will receive practical, real world knowledge and techniques that will assist you in teaching Chair Yoga for disabilities, at risk youth, yoga for long term rehab programs, Department of Corrections and special needs.
Upon application, applicants will be expected to verify a minimum of 30 hours of experience with yoga and meditation. These hours can be a combination of personal practice, studio classes and individual instruction.
Each day of training includes learning by doing, seeing and listening through the following activities:
Yoga practice
Breathwork/meditation
Sample scenarios and group problem solving
Lecture with Q and A
Role play
Student teaching
$250- full training and preparation to support to begin your own program
*$100-train to be a CCYoga teacher! Those completing the 15 hours and be offered a scheduled weekly class. Upon completion of the course, students will receive $50 back from CCYoga (we are looking for committed individuals to share in the vision)
*note* this only applies to those wishing to volunteer for Conscious Community Yoga (paid positions may be offered in the future)
$50 secures your spot in the training (balance is to be paid by the first day of class)
These hours will count towards Continuing Education credits (this is a 1 = 1 hour exchange)
15 hours will count towards the CCYoga 200 hr teacher certification (elective hours). More dates will be posted for continuation of training.
