I Should Have a Party For All The Thoughts I Didn't Say
I SHOULD HAVE A PARTY FOR ALL THE THOUGHTS I DIDNT SAY is an imagistic and evocative love letter to Anton Chekhov, told through physically driven performance, ancient mourning songs, a lively Balkan band,  and scenes reinterpreted in eastern European gibbiersh. I SHOULD HAVE A PARTY is Chekhov, but as if it was a musical composition, made of essences and rhythms. Now to be performed in the glamorous and historic Palm Court Ballroom in Downtown LA's Alexandria Hotel on March 10th, the piece transforms itself from theatre performance to a unique theatrical event of epic proportions. One feels as though one is the witness of a painting that moves, performing on the senses like a welcomed hallucination.
