Visions: An Odyssey in Black Dance
"Visions" is a dance concert celebrating Black History Month that takes the audience on a journey through African-American history. The journey begins in Africa and goes through slavery, freedom, the Harlem Renaissance, Vietnam and other pieces of history up to present day. These stories are told through modern, African, jazz, tap, ballet, and hip hop dance styles as well as singing and acting.
